The problem I've noticed often comes from developers who fiddle with their
own browsers rather than sticking with the stock settings when coding.
One of the fundamental tennets for portable development is to make sure you
test on the most common platforms. For this I'm quite a boring bugger with a
rather large selections of browsers and OS and will check regularly on all
the targets.
