Don't know the ins and outs but you could transfer them to a company hosting
in both uk and us and request that they be hosted in the UK. Zenithtech for
one have just moved all their European hosted domains to their datacenter in
Manchester.

Does anyone know what problems there might be transferring a
registration to the EU from the US? - i've been using an American
company for the last three years... i want to use a host in the UK or EU
for several domains/sites including our own (currently not hosted
properly)... My reg companies T&C aren't very clear to my law-ignorant
eyes...
