try the association of illustrators www.aoi.co.uk they should be able to
help. I think non-members get 30 minutes free legal advice, but it's only
£100 to join and you should get your money's worth in legal advice alone.

Subject: FN-FORUM They stole my work
I recently designed a ski brochure for a client which included some original
map-work. One of my client's direct competitors has just produced their
new brochure and they have scanned and used one of the maps without
permission.
They have not made any changes to the map -
it is an exact replication, scanned from the printed brochure.
What if anything, can we do about it? And, who takes the action, our client
or us?
TIA
Joe
