RE: FN-FORUM What do you think of our work?

date posted 1st November 2002 17:25

This sort of question is always frought with danger...but here goes.

I went through all your work and the standard is really good. Some of it
better than others but overall was pretty good. What i liked the most is
that you can tell you two are both designers and your work displays that
strength. Some of the typogrpahy is excellent( such as the HTML version of
your own site), but as pointed out sometimes suffers from legability. Your
best work is when there is a definative idea going on, such as your own
site aswell as some of the web adverts. Work such as the copywriters site
suffers from this as I think is the weakest cause it is really just style
with nothing much there at all.

Hard to make more of a comment than that cause i dont know what the clietn
was like, how much time you had, etc, etc.

I wouldnt take peoples comments to heart really. Just have a look at their
own site and compare I guess.

Tim

Dear all,

I know that this is an age old question, but I wanted to know what other
people would value our work at. To make this slightly more interesting I
wanted to see if people would tell me what you would price some of our work
at:

www.dv8shoes.com
Simple brochure site

www.rachelkennedy.com
Simple business card site

www.growtheband.com
nice flash site with HTML alternative

www.soilutions.com
more complex site - database driven content management & admin section,
magazine and interactive flash navigation (with html alternative of course)

www.spanishpropertiesdirect.co.uk
large site with property listings, dynamic content and interactive map

www.designbyfront.com
our own portfolio site

Also, if you have any comments or feedback on any of these sites, please
tell me what you think!

Cheers,

Paul
