Hi people,
I need some ball park quotes for some PHP development. The design has =
been completed and the HTML is being worked on now. I will send full =
details tomorrow once I have sifted through all the responses I have =
gained from this. Anyway here is an initial outline:
There are 4 main sections:
> Products
> Consultancy
> Software
> Distribution
1. Under each of these sections there is general information and =
categories.=20
2. The admin system needs to allow the addition of these categories and =
products underneath.=20
3. All body text in all the sections needs to be able to be amended.=20
4. There will be case studies which the client needs to be able to add =
and remove within the admin.
5. There will be an element within the HTML which allows someone to =
subscribe to email updates on these sections. So for example the user =
can put there email address within Products, whenever a new product is =
added they will receive an email informing them of this. For an example =
please go to www.newbritishartists.co.uk and look at any artist and you =
will see this in place.
6. They will need to be able to upload PDF's for users to be able to =
download.
7. Under consultancy there will be no main categories just a list of the =
services with a paragraph on each. There will be a more info button =
which once clicked on will take you to a full page about this service. =
Again all body text editable.
8. Distribution will have no categories just a contact form and a =
distribution location list, which will need to be editable.
There are 5 other sections:
> About Us
> Contact Us
> Links
> News
> Advanced Search
1. About us will just be a block of text (editable).
2. Contact details will be standard with a form (editable).
3. Links (editable list).
4. News will be like any standard news system, displaying the latest 10 =
and having an archive.
5. Advanced search will allow people to search under specific sections.
Within the admin system the client will need to be able to view all =
communications which have come via any of the forms, although these =
still need to be sent to a designated email address. They will also need =
to be able to view a categorised list of all email subscriptions.
The full brief will not change too much from the above, maybe the odd =
element but all those I select will be able to revise their quote =
accordinganly when I send the over the site map and full explanations. =
All pages will be provided as HTML with all dynamic work being =
implemented by yourself. The job is already won so this is not a pitch. =
Please provide me with outline costings, timescales and a list of URL's =
I can see. I will contact those I think I may use around lunchtime =
tomorrow.
Thanks
Pete
