The age-old argument about http streaming from a standard web server vs.
streaming from a dedicated media server rages on...
Well, there's a few arguments that I like, such as the fact that it's far
more difficult to download clips from a media server (but not impossible,
and they could be recorded into an audio editor anyway...hmm....), and the
overall quality and reliability of the stream is better especially at higher
bitrates. There loads of more technical arguments that can be found with a
little searching.
Anyway, I'm not going down that road....

Thanks for the response - glad all was working at your end.
The speed will be exactly the same for a clip encoded at 20k whether it's
streaming off a web server or a streaming server. 20 kilobits per second.
