If you want to use 3D Studio Max files in Flash, you can use a program called Swift 3d, import the dxf file into swft 3d and then export to Flash format www.swift3d.com - not sure which version is out...

Just a thought... If you look on the win2k cd theres a file called (from memory ) apcompat.exe this allows you to play games in win98 mode ... Works a treat on half life etc... But yes its possib...
