I once outsourced about 50,000 UKP worth of data entry work to an Indian
sweatshop, and hired a Romanian hacker to remotely set up a secure unix
server in Montreal. Neither job went smoothly though, and I can't say that
in the end I thought either worked out less hassle, or better value for
money, than finding someone in the UK! Still, maybe he'll be more lucky
than I was :)
