Ive got a VGA problem installing linux. Initially whatever I choose as =
the=20
monitor type (14inch 800x600) the resolution was either displayed too =
high=20
or refresh rate was goosed.
However, Ive started selecting the lowest settings instead rathyer than =
my=20
prefered, so as to get the beast on at least. What it is doing now is=20
displaying graphics all blocky and pixely [EMAIL REMOVED] and I cannot read =
what is
on the screen. Eventually, it gives up trying to render whatever its =
trying to render,
and just goes bright white. I thought it could be a graphics card =
problem but
its a Cirrus Logic card, so its hardly not common.
Can anyone suggest anything other than throwing the hardware out of a =
window?
