You're in Scotland aren't you? How much are they charging up there for
PPL training? I got my licence years back and regrettably I let it
lapse 'cos it got so darn expensive (even to just keep current with the
5(?) hours p.a. plus checkouts!)

Yep. Destined to sit at a desk thinking about planes until I've got
enough cash together to finish my 40 hours PPL training. Shame more
mundane things like furniture and washing machines have to come first.
