There have been two 'specific' Airforce Ones, a 707 up to Carter and a 747
since then. However, the term does apply to any aircraft carrying POTUS.
(President of the US)

Marine One is the callsign of any rotary winged aircraft carrying POTUS.

'Looking Glass' is / used to be the callsign of the airborne command centre
that had Executive Authority - i.e. the guys running the war when everything
else was blown to bits....:-) I think these were phased out in the late
1990s. The expectation was that a Looking Glass plane would take over if
SAC HQ was destroyed or incapable of directing operations.

I need to get out more.
