Just a few comments, I hope these help...
There's a line in your opening paragraph that doesn't sound right:
"In order for us to keep functioning we have to maintain a sign-up rate well
below the industry average and so far we have exceeded this by an order of
magnitude."
- This sounds to me like you're boasting you haven't got any users?!
There are quite a few typos e.g. it should be "one-off" not "one of", "stab
le hardware", "there will be someone [who] will answer". Get your site
really well proof-read, you wouldn't believe how many pedantic people are
around who simply won't use your service because they spot a few typos.
Finally, some of your claims just sound too boastful - you claim to be
targeting a technically-savvy audience, then say things like:
"The servers we host our accounts on have either 10,000 or 15,000 RPM SCSI
disks using hardware RAID which means disk speeds are second to none."
- erm, surely that should be "second to none, except any that are faster
than 10,000 or 15,000 RPM". But then that doesn't sound so good :)
"Connectivity comes from three physically distinct OC-12 connections, each
from a different provider. Day to day fluctuations in the status of the
internet do not effect the ability for people to view your site."
- What would happen if there was a power cut at LINX? It's quite possible
that your three different providers share a single point of failure. I
don't think you should make a boast like this without saying who your
providers are.
Best wishes,
Ross Hamilton
