I dunno. There's plenty that overseas developers can do very well, but also
stuff they can't - like give effective support in another language or write
documentation (a not-to-be-mentioned software house outsourced some of their
user guides to India, so the home team had to rewrite them - took twice as
long as if they hadn't outsourced it and cost more).

BT is encouraging the outsourcing of call centres (apparently they think
they'll get an opportunity to sell comms links...)
