If you already have a linux box with a recent install of something (i.e.
a 2.4 kernel) iptables will do it all for you. I spent a while messing
around with a couple of iptables/ipchains (kernel 2.2) front ends the
other day.
Try the snappily titled "firewall" at http://fwup.org/ or Mason
http://www.stearns.org/mason/ . These should help you set up the
software once you've got all the hardware done. A good read of
http://www.netfilter.org is probably also recommended... Either that or
buy a firewall...
