prob in the somewhere in the registry under hkey_current_user/control
panel/desktop

i dont particularly advise mucking about in there unless your certain what
you're doing though - surely you can reposition icon using the mouse or
arrange by... ?

Does anyone know where the information relating to position of icons &
shortcuts on Windows desktop is stored?

I've been wondering about this for ages now, though it didn't seem much of a
pressing matter until I recently hit autoarrange by mistake.
