Yup, you can do that. You can either tweak a standard distro (e.g. Red Hat,
Debian, Mandrake, Slackware, SuSE...) to do it, or you can use a distro
specially-prepared for the purpose, such as IP Cop or Astaro Security Linux.
IP Cop in particular is very easy to get up and running, though it does have
limitations in the current stable release.

Are they still using the Alcatel 'frog'? If so, yes, those work under Linux,
though some folk report they work perfectly, others say they uh, don't work
so perfectly. IP Cop supports them virtually out-of-the-box.
