Ah....but your talking about being on foot rather than in a car and pulling
out on anther road user rather than a pedestrian. From memory (kinda rusty
now) pedestrians have the right of way, but, are required to act responsibly
and not endanger other people.

Can't agree, in our 30 limit road I have lost count of the number of times
I have had to RUN out of the way with my child/children from what was
an empty road when I started to cross. These people are doing 40- 55
commonly, and in the worst case - in daylight hours - 90+.
If I can fu5k these bastards by pulling out ( and I AM talking about
in my massive Volvo! And just me in it!) then I will gladly do so.
But don't quote me on this
