Re: FN-FORUM Access via router
date posted 27th January 2003 13:49
Hi
I don't use this particular model, but I use VNC over a wireless network
and it works fine. I have an U.S Robotics Access Point connected to a hub(A
friend of mine has an Acces point connected to a router) and a D-Link Card
in my laptop.
The longer the distance to the access point the slower the data transfer. I
had to reposition my Access point to a more central location in my home. It
was also a nightmare to install the hardware (Mainly manaufactor related,
bat documented), but there after I had no problems. I am glad I did it.
I hope thats helps....
