The only other programme I can otherwise suggest other than Premiere is AVID

Thanks for the heads up Kevin, although Premiere does include DVD
support it looks like the best Adobe can do in terms of authoring is
including a copy of DVDit! SE. Unless the next version actually has DVD
authoring built in I wouldn't even consider it...
