FN-FORUM: ASP advice

hi all,
At the moment I'm working on my final year project for my degree. Its a
website supplying events information using asp with a database ( MS Access)
supplying the data.
What I need advice on is that I'm just about to start a backend for the site
hopefully using asp script.
Has anyone made one before? If so where should I start? How do you go about
making one ?
