Hi Simon,

I've got a biz account with Barclays. Free banking for 12 or 18 months
(I forget which) Free internet banking, etc. Helps if you have an
personal account too.

Merchant Account:

Most banks won't talk to you if you have an account elsewhere, in fact
a sweep of the high street banks come back with a big "GO AWAY" if you
don't have a biz account with them.

If I were to do it all over I might look at HSBC.
