RE: FN-FORUM: OT - Quentin Tarantino

The uncut version is what you'll find in most of Europe, only weedy
British censoring didn't like the original end. This runs true for the
hotel scene aswell.

Clarence does die in the original screenplay..

I think Christian Slater lives in all versions - didn't he die in the
script?

The difference in the two version I have, is that in the UNRATED US
version,
which is also different to the R rated version I think, Patricia
Arquette
picks up Slater's revolver at the end and blows Chris Penn away, whereas
in
the Brit version I have, it's a dying mafia guy who kind of looks up,
cut to
full screen gun, bang, bang, Chris Penn dead, mafia guy drops head and
dies.

Also, the scene in the motel with James Gandolfini is much longer - in
this
unrated version she shoots him with the shotgun 5 or 6 times before
battering his bloody body with the shotgun, rather than the diluted one
shot
kill version.

Those are differences as I always saw them - I haven't watched either
version in about 7 years, so I don't know if all this is common
knowledge
now.

Dan.
