I always thought that the Nigerian 419 scams were perpetuated by Americans -
I was quite surprised to find that some of they actually come from Nigeria.

But I don't think that despising spammers is racist. We can all get touchy
when we assume that others are thinking about us in a particular way (race,
sex or whatever), even when it's not actually true - it really pisses me off
when I hear all the crap about women not wanting to be in IT or being better
help desk employees because they like people and all the touchy-feely
stuff.....grrrrrr!!!
