I don't expect a free ride, I wouldn't expect to be charged for a patch
either that was kinda maybe somewhat my point...

Doesn't especially matter to be honest, I'm just wondering where Apple =
are
going with this, at least it's not Motorola (not they had any choice).

Well I wouldn't say forced. When you buy a Mac it automatically comes an =

OS installed. The buy a G5, it comes with a 64-bit OS installed. Mac =

to not generally upgrade their machines in the same way PC users do.

Either way, I don't understand the comment. Are you expecting 64-bit =3D =
OSes
to be a free upgrade when they arrive?
