Hi Kathy

You'll be asked to do two things. The first will be to give a 60 second
speech on your business. Make sure it's explains just what it is that you
do and try and have a snappy closing hook in it. Keep it basic, a lot of
non-technical people will be there. Something that'll make them laugh is
good (because by god those meetings get boring).

The second thing will be to give some sort of feedback on the actual
meeting. This is usually "I'm really impressed, blah blah". If you can
make a joke there as well then all the better.

Take your business cards. Get there a bit early, and prepare to stay late.
A lot of the important stuff, ie networking, goes on before and afterwards.
I don't go regularly as it's my partner that's the actual member, so what
I'm passing on is what I've seen. To be honest there'll be visitors hosts
on hand who should be helpful to you, introducing you to people etc. I'm
sure you'll do well.
