RE: FN-FORUM: [OT] Canary Islands..

AFAIK the canary islands are part of Europe, the situation with the duty
free is a deal and is not duty free, but exempt (the same deal operates =
with
the channel islands). For more information on limits that you bring =
back
from the canary islands check out the customs & excise site.

Subject: FN-FORUM: [OT] Canary Islands..
Well OT but does anyone know does the canary islands come under Europe =
or
Worldwide? I'm trying to arrange Travel Insurance for a 'Holiday' in 2 =
weeks
time :).
If I remember correctly the islands are part of Spain but not in the EC
(duty free!) but how would insurance firms classify....=20
Any help much appreciated...
Chaz.
