For the purposes of registering a limited company, you must supply a
real address, which can (unfortunatly) be looked up on the Companies
House site. This can be either your location, or if you have an
arrangement with one of those multiplex office affairs, it can be there.
Note that it *is* a legal requirement to have a plaque outside the
registered office.
For advertising purposes (including web sites) you can use any address
you see fit, although it would help if the address meant stuff could
actually get to you! A PO box is fine for this, although if they were
to visit you, they'll probably want a real location.
If you only want to show a 'phone number, that's up to you. Just make
sure that you supply an address for them to send cheques your way! :-)
