A VOB would be nice ;o)

Sadly the Philips DVDR880 seems to have a proprietary data format for
unfinalised disks that nothing recognises - it must read it and recode it
into VOB's when it's finalised - this is only on DVD+R on the +RW disks
although the menus are screwed there are VOB files that I've extracted and
reburned.

Oh well, that'll teach me to take a refund over a replacement....
