Yeah, it will take bloomin ages to build anything on a P2, but if you have
another PC (or more) you can run distcc (on Linux or cygwin) and share the
load. For a low end machine the best thing about Gentoo isn't what you gain
in terms of optimised code, but in what you don't get in terms of
unnecessary bloat (MDK is a bit of a kitchen sink distro)
