Well, to be honest, it sounds like it's not a hardware problem. 2 PCs with
4 heads each, yes? That's still relatively expensive and hard to do.
Someone at some time spent money, time & effort on building that.

Now, it sounds like instead of 2 power users needing lots of information,
they have multiple less demanding ones. So what they really need are more
PCs, maybe 4 dualhead ones or 8 ordinary single-head machines.

I don't see any obvious technological solution to this.

I can think of some horrible hairy ones. Several companies sell gadgets
allowing you to connect a 2nd set of monitor, keyboard & mouse to a single
PC, making it a dual-user system. However, it's cheaper & much easier to
buy a 2nd cheapo PC.
