I'l admit to not much knowledge of 2K and XP, but AFAIK there's still lot=

of stuff in the registry.

Same problem in any OS! Locate works well, plus the fact that most thing=
s
are somewhere underneath /etc.

I came in at 2.0/386. If you've ever used a real 1.0 box you are=20
a most unusual person...
