Can certainly be a problem with dial-up, especially if you have an ISP who
cuts you off every so often. This is one of my quieter lists. But I
remember what my busy ones were like over a dial-up (500 plus a day).
Problems happen if OE tries to start a new POP3 session before the last one
finished and, of course, if the session doesn't complete, it starts to
download all the messages again. I used to spend a lot of time on webmail
deleting old messages.
I unsubscribe from this list when I'm away and set my others to no mail. Bit
of a "No brainer" that one, I think.
