That's why I mentioned using a standard framework, something could be cooked
up that would allow developers to quickly create / add all the relevant
options to a set of dialogues, the backend presents these to the user (with
all other dialogues for other apps, kinda like a control panel) and matches
the options to the relevant config files. Something as quick and easy as
making forms in VB with some basic scripting behind.
