RE: FN-FORUM: BT Broadband Voice service
date posted 20th January 2004 14:33
One concern, you get given an 05511 xxx xxxx number as the number for others
to call you, anyone know how much it is to call an 05511 number, local?
national? I have an 0845 number pointing to my uk landline, not sure if they
will allow me to point it to an 05511 number?

Weve shipped a few VOip systems already and made good use of them for
our selves and our clients. its a far site cheaper than a conventional
phone system compared to price/bang ratio.
Note though that VOIP inbound to your switch will not support more than
4 calls into the switch from external sources over 1 dsl line at 2mbit.
We think SDSL will bump this up to about 16.
