RE: FN-FORUM: ASP / Access problem

date posted 21st January 2004 15:58

Hi Dan

It really depends on your forum software. Some forum software (for
example Snitz) will support a wide range of databases, and all you need
do is change a setting somewhere. Other software might need a complete
re-write.

Cheers for the replies,

As unlikely as 20 concurrent connections sounds, it's happened twice
this week! It's my stupid fault for using Access but I'm not really a
techie, so I don't know much about the alternatives (correction....I
know bugger all). Is it fairly straightforward to replace the Access
file with something else - don't suppose anyone knows of any decent
tutes?
