Ahh, that makes sense - I should have thought of that I guess.

The thing to do is, in Access, set the default value for the fields to
Date() which will mean it's automatically populated with the date that the
record is added. If you need help with that let me know.

It seems that the 'date added' field is not working and since it's
sorted chronologically it can't decide where to put entries! As I now
add them manually to the actual db they are showing up!
