OK I need a good / cheap accountant. Hopefully someone can advise me on a
good place to look. My current situation is that I split my work as
follows:

50% Through recruitment agencies (so I’m taxed through PAYE and NIC)
40% Direct with development agencies (paid by cheque / bank transfer)
10% Private work (paid by cheque / bank transfer)

I’ve completed my tax return but it confuses the hell out of me, and I know
I could structure my finances better. So I guess what I want is an
accountant I can give all my invoices, outgoings, letters and documents from
the IR. Then let him work it all out and provide any advice. Do other
people here split their work like this? Have you got a good recommendation
for a London based account and how much does he charge for this kind of
service.
