It's the right tool for the job, and a core component of Apache, but you

From a browser point of view it will make no odds, as long as Apache can
find its way to the file and knows how to handle it, in terms of mime-types

I have developed a system on WinXPPro SP1 running IIS6, which has now been

yup, i have a couple of folk i advised to go with brinkster, although
thats certainly something i'm currently regretting.
