To be honest unless you're 'sub prime' like me, then you should have no
problems getting a mortgage in the current climate. indeed, a
self-certification mortgage is almost essential in some areas.

Because I am rebuilding my credit history, I had to go through the sub-prime
subsidiary of one of the big guys, and pay a couple of percent above normal
interest.
