but you pay for the fact that it is macintosh, and all the benefits

and as far as i'm aware there are no Pentium processors that come close
to the power offered by G5's.

The standard set up is different too. On the 2Ghz you have a faster front
side bus & also a better graphics card.

it's *really* fast as it is able to process that many more instructions
than 32 bit processors.
it also enables the computer to use more RAM... (previously 4gb was
the maximum RAM a 32-bit proces...

What you need here is access to the httpd.conf file on the machine holding

Presuming you've put dollar signs intentionally the US apple site has the
Dual 1.8Ghz at $2499 & the Dual 2Ghz at $2999. These are both G5 chipped

A mate of mine uses Omni Accounts on a PC. Really wished they had something
like that for Mac. Was all module driven ie: you have the basic accounts
package & if you want the invoicing module you buy...
