it's *really* fast as it is able to process that many more instructions than 32 bit processors. it also enables the computer to use more RAM... (previously 4gb was the maximum RAM a 32-bit proces...

hi emma you can get a pretty hefty top of the range Mac in that price range. but remember, it is better to customize your model when purchasing (i always recommend going through the Apple website....

Presuming you've put dollar signs intentionally the US apple site has the Dual 1.8Ghz at $2499 & the Dual 2Ghz at $2999. These are both G5 chipped machines which come with a base install of 512Mb ram....

A mate of mine uses Omni Accounts on a PC. Really wished they had something like that for Mac. Was all module driven ie: you have the basic accounts package & if you want the invoicing module you buy...
