Yes, you're going to completely knacker it if you're trying to run
the CPU at 2.6. An Athlon 2600 is an *equivalent* speed. The
actual clock runs at 2.13GHz which means you'll need to set the
BIOS/mobo accordingly.
I can't help with specifics, as I don't know the MSI boards that well
- we won't use them after a serious falling out with them some time
ago. I'd suggest a trip to www.amd.com and to the MSI site to blag
some config info.
