Also, as well as Ron's comments, you need to check spelling and grammar
before you let the page go live. Silly little things like missing capitals

If you have access to it, flash is the ideal medium for such
interactivity...
There are loads of tutorials on such projects at places like flash
planet etc...

Could be memory resources?
Never used a Mac, but sometimes on the PC if I
have lots of programs open and then try to load Flash.
It starts to load and quits just before it should have loaded.
