I have no personal experience of Squiggle2 ;) other than seeing it crop up
fairly rarely these days in the required skills in job ads. AFAICT it's
still often a prerequisite for project managers on government contracts and
often a nice-to-have for finance/investment companies, but IME that's about
it. It's probably also less relevant if you're a 'pure' developer rather
than on, or intending to move into, the project management side of things.
Despite it being an attractive offer (how many companies are willing to pay
you to get trained up these days?), unless you specifically want to get into
project management or break into the tougher government/finance markets,
then it's probably not worth the effort IMO.
