I must say as I was woken up at midnight* by the fireworks last night,
I thought the same thing. What are they all so cheerful about?

By the way, for anyone who has not donated yet and wants to, if you do so through your company,
the charitable donation comes off your company tax bill, I understand.

* We always go to bed early on NYE - not a very exciting or important event in our family.
Many years ago I had a NYE gathering, and my brother & his wife left at 11:45pm in order to
miss all the traffic!!
