company i used to work for would send a list of requirements to any
recruitment agency that cold called wanting to take our business,
including some made up technology. anyone that replied that could deal
with all that was promptly ignored, anyone that said "i've never heard
of that" might have got a look in...

having said that, it wouldn't seem to apply in this case.
