i don't think the 12" pbook is so bad. definitely quick enough for
web based work - and the small screen gives added portability.
i've always been happier with the 15" model though - 17" seems a bit of
a beast!
remember you can customise your laptops: once you click on 'add to
cart' on the apple store, you can spec it up as much as you like...
for the record i specced my current one as far as it could go :-)
this is the main advantage of buying direct from Apple through their
online store: they will modify components and build the spec you want
- as opposed to the stores that will usually have the default
configuration, which you won't be able to change much in future.
