Thanks, started looking at it earlier today but need to get on with
some work first. Would it be the right idea to install ethereal on the
suspected culprit rather than the ones that are working? What is
strange, it looks like it kills just the DNS lookup as internal
network works still fine and Internet work for the first 20-30 seconds
(i.e. one e-mail check and download). Tried to run the rogue system
without anything other than XP to eliminate software problem from
applications but even that blocks the Internet access to thw whole
network.

After looking at the ethereal site I can't find a suggestions where it
would be best to deploy ehtereal, anyone on here got any pointers?
