I've stayed in a few places from Alistair Sawday's "Special Places to Stay"
books, and been really happy with all of them. They tend to be a bit
different from the usual, like windmills and castle towers, or very special
little cottages and B&Bs that are otherwise pretty unknown. Not sure how
good the web site is but ...
