i agree - but 'bitroot' is merely a good name, doesn't need to have an
image of a beetroot next to it. but how about imagery that represents
the root? like fiber optics or something.

but i think you could try using it very sparingly - it might add some
well needed punch to the page. just a line or two of purple would be
cool.

i think landscapes are fine. (after all, just check out my site!) but
i feel the imagery has the potential to be much stronger on your site
somehow. for instance, i use landscapes because i am trying to 'evoke'
something aspirational...
but these are just musings on a Sunday evening ;-)
nothing to be taken too seriously... !
