I'd say it's maybe a memory problem, first thing maybe to try removing
all memory modules and insert a proven working stick...

Well, I get these messages: "CMOS Battery Failure" followed by "CMOS
checksum error" - now to me that spells dead, but it's the first time
I've encountered this one so I may be wrong...
